Marabu Airlines and Lufthansa Technik Expand Cooperation

by Editorial Staff

Lufthansa Technik, the global market leader in technical aircraft services, has significantly expanded its partnership with Estonian carrier Marabu Airlines through a new multi-year Total Component Support (TCS) agreement. This extended cooperation, building on a relationship established when Marabu launched operations in 2023, is a key enabler for the airline’s ongoing Airbus A320neo fleet expansion. The agreement ensures Marabu’s continued access to Lufthansa Technik’s extensive global component pool, comprehensive repair services, and efficient logistical support, guaranteeing high aircraft availability and rapid turnaround times.

Beyond the core TCS contract, the collaboration is already multifaceted, encompassing the supply of consumables and expandables, dedicated aircraft engineering services, and essential certification support. This deep technical partnership provides Marabu with a robust foundation for its ambitious growth strategy. Laszlo Molnar, Technical Director at Marabu Airlines, emphasized that having a strong technical partner is crucial for maintaining the high operational standards expected by passengers and partners as the fleet grows.

Tanja Pustolla, Corporate Sales Executive for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Lufthansa Technik, expressed honor at the expanded contract. She highlighted the special connection for the Germany-based company, as Marabu operates flights from several German airports, and praised the successful working relationship. The renewed and broadened agreement solidifies Lufthansa Technik’s role as a privileged partner in Marabu’s exciting development journey, providing a complete support ecosystem that is trusted by airlines worldwide.
