Dassault Aviation at the Dubai Airshow

by Editorial Staff

Dassault Aviation proudly announces its participation at the Dubai Airshow, running from November 17 to 21. This event highlights the company’s deep-rooted and strategic partnership with the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, a relationship that began in 1973 with the Mirage 5. Today, this partnership continues to thrive, with the UAE Armed Forces operating a advanced fleet of Mirage 2000-9s and confirming a major commitment to future capabilities through a historic order for 80 Rafale fighter jets, signed in December 2021.

The Rafale, a cornerstone of Dassault’s military aviation prowess, will be a central attraction. A static display will allow for up-close inspection, while the French Air and Space Force will demonstrate the aircraft’s exceptional agility and performance in daily flying displays. These demonstrations are supported by a Rafale detachment currently deployed at the Al Dhafra air base in the UAE, underscoring the operational synergy between the two nations. At the Dassault Aviation stand, visitors are invited to experience an interactive “Battle Lab” simulator. This cutting-edge exhibit is designed to explain and illustrate Dassault’s forward-thinking vision and its latest developments in the critical field of collaborative combat.

Complementing its military aircraft, Dassault will showcase two flagship business jets, reinforcing its leadership in that sector. The Falcon 6X twinjet, which entered service in 2023, boasts the largest cabin cross-section of any purpose-built business jet in operation. It sets a new market standard with its exceptional cabin comfort, superior soundproofing, and abundant natural light, all while offering an impressive range of 5,500 nautical miles. Alongside it, the Falcon 8X trijet offers a unique combination of efficiency and flexibility in the very long-range category, capable of missions up to 6,500 nautical miles.

The Falcon family is highly esteemed across the Middle East, where operators value its unparalleled reliability, comfort, and performance. The regional support network is a key strength, exemplified by the presence of the ExecuJet service center in Dubai. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, ExecuJet forms a vital link in the global Falcon support network, ensuring top-tier service for operators in the region.
