Rocket Lab Corporation (Nasdaq: RKLB) has successfully completed its eighth mission for Synspective, further solidifying a long-term partnership that now includes 27 dedicated launches. The “Eight Days A Week” mission lifted off from Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand on March 21st, deploying Synspective’s eighth StriX satellite to a 573km low-Earth orbit. This marks Rocket Lab’s 84th Electron launch overall.
The mission deployed a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite designed to provide Earth-imaging data for government and commercial customers. Demonstrating its tailored service capabilities, Rocket Lab provided a custom Electron fairing to meet the specific requirements of the satellite.
Maintaining a 100% mission success rate for Synspective, Rocket Lab recently extended its agreement to include 19 additional dedicated launches, scheduled to complete the constellation by 2028. With a total of 27 launches, Electron serves as Synspective’s primary launch partner, chosen for its reliability, rapid cadence, and precise deployment accuracy.
