Robin Radar Systems has partnered with counter-drone technology provider DroneShield to integrate its IRIS 3D CUAS radar into DroneShield’s advanced aerial defense ecosystem. The collaboration enables operators to combine Robin’s radar capabilities with DroneShield’s platform for layered airspace protection.

DroneShield specializes in smart systems that detect, track, identify, and mitigate unauthorized drones. The company follows an ecosystem-first approach, integrating proven third-party sensors to give operators flexibility in choosing technology suited to their environment and threat profile.

“At Robin, we see ourselves as a new-generation radar company—fast, adaptive, and built for integration,” said Marcel Verdonk, Chief Commercial Officer at Robin Radar Systems. “We’re pleased to partner with DroneShield to combine our IRIS 3D radar with their CUAS platform, enabling smarter, layered airspace protection worldwide.”

Designed for seamless integration, IRIS delivers long-range 3D tracking with a low false alarm rate, utilizing micro-Doppler and deep-learning algorithms. The radar deploys in under 15 minutes and features an interoperable API, allowing easy mounting on buildings, tripods, or vehicles.

Within DroneShield’s ecosystem, IRIS will integrate with DroneSentry-C2, a real-time command-and-control platform that consolidates input from multiple sensors into a unified operational picture for improved decision-making.

“Operators need systems that adapt to their mission, not the other way around,” said Angus Bean, Chief Product Officer at DroneShield. “By partnering with Robin Radar Systems, we give customers more freedom to design their airspace security architecture.”

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to securing global skies through collaborative, reliable technologies that protect people and critical infrastructure.
