ParaZero Technologies has announced a pivotal milestone: the receipt of its first direct purchase order from a major Israeli defense entity for its advanced DefendAir Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS). This landmark contract underscores the growing demand for proven non-kinetic anti-drone technology amid the evolving aerial threat landscape highlighted in recent conflicts.

The order specifies the delivery of multiple DefendAir systems, a multi-layered, soft-kill solution. The system’s core technology utilizes patented net-launching mechanisms to safely intercept and neutralize hostile drones mid-flight. This non-explosive approach is designed to eliminate airborne threats with minimal risk of collateral damage, making it suitable for protecting troops, critical infrastructure, and dense urban environments. The contract also includes comprehensive integration services and operator training to ensure swift deployment and operational readiness.

This procurement is a direct response to the urgent and escalating drone threat, which has been identified as a primary risk to ground forces and strategic operations. The DefendAir system has undergone rigorous field testing, demonstrating a 100% interception success rate in trials, a key factor in the defense entity’s selection process. The systems will support the entity’s extensive initiatives to bolster its defensive capabilities against unmanned aerial threats.

“We are honored to receive this first order from a leading Israeli defense entity, a testament to the reliability and effectiveness of our DefendAir systems in real-world defense scenarios,” said Ariel Alon, CEO of ParaZero. “Following the lessons of recent conflicts, where drones have emerged as a significant battlefield challenge, this procurement underscores the urgent need for advanced, scalable counter-drone capabilities. We are proud to contribute to enhancing the protection of Israeli forces and look forward to supporting broader deployment of our technology.”

As an aerospace defense company specializing in smart, autonomous safety solutions for both manned and unmanned aviation, ParaZero views this initial order as a critical entry point into direct sales with a key national defense customer. The company anticipates this contract will serve as a foundation for future procurement and broader adoption of its counter-UAS technology within Israel’s defense architecture and potentially with allied forces facing similar threats.
