At MILIPOL Paris 2025, Rohde & Schwarz will present its advanced signals intelligence portfolio, demonstrating a fully integrated methodology for achieving persistent, real-time awareness of the electromagnetic spectrum. This capability is crucial for enhancing border security, protecting critical infrastructure, and strengthening national defense. On booth E-088 in hall 5A, visitors will discover how this technology generates a complete radio frequency (RF) picture, empowering security forces to make faster, more informed decisions against evolving threats.
The exhibition will feature an immersive demonstration of complex border protection scenarios. It will visually articulate a multi-layer RF sensor and data fusion approach, which is designed to help operators identify anomalies within a dense and contested electromagnetic spectrum. This system proactively detects, classifies, and localizes potential threats in dynamic environments, moving beyond traditional monitoring to establish an adaptable and predictive security posture.
Benjamin Sepp, Regional Sales Manager Security & Defense, emphasizes the critical need for actionable intelligence. “We are demonstrating how our best-in-class RF sensors, signal intelligence technologies, and advanced data fusion deliver that essential intelligence,” he states. The showcased solutions are tailored for security agencies, defense forces, and critical infrastructure operators. Mr. Sepp adds that their approach provides faster insights for superior situational awareness and delivers platform-agnostic systems capable of operating across air, land, and sea domains to counter cross-border and hybrid risks.
Live demonstrations will highlight the seamless interaction and fusion of specialized technologies into a single, comprehensive operational picture. Key capabilities on display will include satellite communications monitoring (SATMON), counter uncrewed aerial systems (CUAS), mobile radio analysis (MRA), electromagnetic intelligence (ELINT), and communications intelligence (COMINT). The integration of various sensors on both ground and aerial uncrewed platforms will also be featured, showcasing a flexible and scalable solution. “From signals to intelligence – that’s our promise,” concludes Mr. Sepp. “True spectrum dominance is not just about superior sensor technology; it’s about being a trusted partner, providing a reliable foundation for effective operations in an increasingly complex world.”
