Aequs to deliver essential aircraft components to Airbus

Aequs, a manufacturer of aerospace components, and Airbus, one of the biggest aircraft manufacturers in the world, have signed a long-term contract for the supply of critical parts for models such as the A320, A330neo, and A350.

Aravind Melligeri, Chairman & CEO, Aequs, said, “This contract is a significant moment in our journey with Airbus. It is also a testimony to the confidence in Aequs by global OEMs to enter into deeper and longer relationships, particularly at a time when the global supply chain is passing through a recalibration.”

As per the agreement, it will produce detailed parts for the wings, fuselage, and pylons of popular Airbus aircraft models over a ten-year period using bench assembly. On the other hand, details regarding the deal value were kept confidential.

The manufacturer of aerospace components has been providing its first OEM customer, Airbus, with its products for a long time and has been Airbus’s preferred Detailed Parts Partner (D2P) partner for well over a decade.
