QuikTrip Corporation is significantly bolstering its aviation capabilities, formalizing a deal for a third Bell 429 helicopter. The announcement, made at the VAI Verticon 2026 convention, signals the Tulsa-based convenience store giant’s commitment to maintaining a best-in-class corporate transport fleet.
The new aircraft will join an existing QuikTrip fleet that already includes two Bell 429s and a Bell 407GXi, highlighting a strong preference for Bell’s medium-light twin-engine platform. For Bell Textron, a subsidiary of Textron Inc., this repeat order underscores the enduring value of the 429 model in the corporate sector.
“This continued investment by QuikTrip speaks volumes,” said Lane Evans, Bell’s managing director of North America sales. “When a company chooses to expand an existing fleet with the same model, it validates the aircraft’s performance and reliability. The Bell 429 has consistently proven it can meet the rigorous demands of their business operations.”
The Bell 429 is celebrated for its versatility, but for corporate operators, the key selling points are its balance of speed, range, and cabin comfort. The aircraft is designed to transport up to six passengers in a quiet, spacious environment, making it ideal for shuttling executives between regional offices or to remote locations efficiently.

The aircraft’s advanced avionics suite, featuring BasixPro and a precise guidance system, reduces pilot workload by automating critical in-flight calculations and displaying vital data in real-time. This focus on safety and operational ease makes the 429 not just a mode of transport, but a mobile extension of the QuikTrip executive office.
