AJW Group has secured a pivotal, long-term support agreement with Vietnam’s new entrant, Sun PhuQuoc Airways. The contract encompasses full Power-by-the-Hour (PBH) and Main Base Kit (MBK) services for the airline’s entire launch fleet of six Airbus A321 aircraft, comprising two ceo and four neo models.
The agreement represents a strategic win for AJW Group in the growing Southeast Asian aviation market, reinforcing its role as a leading provider of integrated support for Airbus A320 family operators. For Sun PhuQuoc, a startup backed by the established Sun Group luxury hospitality brand, the partnership provides a robust, scalable foundation for its launch and ambitious expansion.
Sun PhuQuoc Airways, headquartered in Vietnam, currently operates domestic routes connecting PhuQuoc Island with Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Da Nang. The airline has outlined plans for significant regional growth, targeting route expansion into South Korea and Taiwan from 2026 onward, accompanied by a rapid fleet increase.
The structured Request for Proposal (RFP) process began in July 2025, with collaborative efforts focused on crafting a tailored support solution. This solution was designed to meet the airline’s immediate operational requirements while aligning seamlessly with its long-term strategic growth objectives.
