Electro Optic Systems Holdings Limited has announced new contract awards and provided an update on its conditional High Energy Laser agreement in Korea.

New US Orders Valued at US$12 Million

EOS Defense Systems USA has secured two new contracts totaling US$12 million (approximately A$17 million).

The first is a US$5 million contract with the U.S. Army to develop and deliver Remote Weapon Systems (RWS). This award forms part of an ongoing development program, with manufacturing to be conducted in Huntsville, Alabama. EOS will deliver enhanced RWS capability tailored to the U.S. Army’s operational requirements, with the work expected to inform future production efforts for critical Army programs. Deliveries under this contract are scheduled for 2026.

The second is a US$7 million order to produce Slinger RWS for Northrop Grumman’s Agnostic Gun Truck (NG AGT) for counter-drone applications. This follow-on order follows prior collaboration between the companies and reflects growing market demand. Deliveries are also expected during 2026.

Conditional Korean High Energy Laser (HEL) Contract Update

Throughout February and March 2026, EOS continued constructive discussions with Goldrone regarding a conditional US$80 million contract to manufacture and supply a 100kW High Energy Laser Weapon. The contract remains subject to several conditions: payment of an initial US$18 million deposit by Goldrone, procurement of a Letter of Credit for the remaining amount, and Goldrone’s inspection and approval of EOS’ Singapore Facility.

Recent discussions have explored the possibility of manufacturing the first unit in Korea instead of Singapore as originally planned. These talks have resulted in a shared action plan aimed at moving the contract toward becoming unconditional. Based on this plan, EOS now believes conversion could occur in the second quarter of 2026, though no certainty can be assured.

Further details regarding the conditional contract were previously provided in announcements dated 15 December 2025 and 10 February 2026.
