Volatus Aerospace acquires full control of Synergy Aviation.

Volatus Aerospace is taking full control of its commercial flight capabilities. The company announced today that it has signed definitive agreements to acquire the remaining 41.53% minority stake in Synergy Aviation Ltd., paving the way for complete consolidation of its crewed aircraft operations.

Upon closing, expected around March 15, 2026, Volatus will hold 100% ownership of Synergy. The transaction will be satisfied through the issuance of approximately 2.59 million common shares, valued using the 30-day volume-weighted average price prior to closing. This follows a 2025 transaction where Volatus increased its stake to 58.47% through the issuance of 2.13 million shares.

Bringing Synergy fully in-house allows Volatus to streamline governance and financial reporting while eliminating minority interests. More importantly, it tightens the integration between traditional crewed aircraft and advanced uncrewed systems. This alignment is intended to create a seamless operational workflow, enabling the company to offer more cohesive solutions across its training, engineering, and manufacturing divisions.

This move supports Volatus’ broader North American expansion strategy. It complements the recent launch of commercial aircraft operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which will service the U.S. oil and gas sector, while also reinforcing centralized engineering initiatives in Canada.

“Full ownership of Synergy removes structural friction and allows us to operate as one unified aerospace entity,” said Glen Lynch, CEO of Volatus Aerospace. “We can now synchronize our crewed and uncrewed assets more effectively, ensuring consistency and scalability as we expand our footprint in critical industries.”
