Dassault Aviation has officially unveiled its most ambitious project to date, the Falcon 10X, to an audience of over 400 industry figures in Bordeaux-Mérignac. The aircraft is designed to challenge conventional perceptions of air travel, aiming to make time spent onboard feel indistinguishable from time spent in a luxury residence.
The centerpiece of this new flagship is its spacious cabin. With a width of 9 feet, 1 inch, and a height of 6 feet, 8 inches, the 10X offers interior volume that surpasses its closest rivals and even some regional airliners. This extra space allows for highly customizable layouts, including full-size bedrooms, formal dining areas, and private suites with the option for a shower. The atmosphere is further enhanced by 38 extra-large windows—50% larger than those on the Falcon 8X—which flood the interior with natural light, creating what Dassault calls the brightest cabin in business aviation.
Passenger well-being is further prioritized through advanced environmental systems. At a cruising altitude of 41,000 feet, the cabin altitude is maintained at just 3,000 feet, significantly reducing passenger fatigue. A system of 100% fresh air and individually adjustable temperature zones ensures a personalized and refreshing environment, allowing travelers to arrive at their destination feeling ready to engage with their day.
