Bombardier has solidified its long-standing relationship with Vista through a monumental order for the Challenger 3500 aircraft. The agreement includes firm orders for 40 jets, with options for an additional 120, bringing the total potential value to US$4.72 billion based on 2026 list prices.

The deal underscores Vista’s commitment to expanding its global fleet with the industry’s leading super-midsize aircraft. The Challenger 3500, celebrated for its blend of cutting-edge technology, cabin comfort, and operational reliability, will play a central role in Vista’s strategy to meet growing demand for premium private travel over the next decade.

Bombardier President and CEO Éric Martel highlighted the significance of the partnership. “Bombardier jets defined the super-midsize category, and the Challenger 3500 continues to set new standards,” Martel said. “This order from Vista, a valued customer since their inception, reflects the aircraft’s ability to deliver the perfect balance of innovation, comfort, and value. We are proud to deepen our relationship and support Vista’s teams and clients with this exceptional platform.”

Vista Founder and Chairman Thomas Flohr emphasized the forward-looking nature of the investment. “This agreement is about leadership, preparedness, and client experience,” Flohr stated. “We are building the fleet our Members will rely on for years to come—investing with clarity, scale, and discipline rather than reacting to short-term cycles.”

The Challenger 3500 stands out in its class for its 99.8% dispatch reliability and low operating costs, ensuring worry-free performance for operators. Its cabin features Bombardier’s patented Nuage seats, voice-controlled technology, 4K entertainment, and wireless charging, offering passengers an unparalleled experience.

With this order, Vista secures its position as a dominant force in private aviation, while Bombardier reinforces its leadership in the super-midsize segment. The aircraft’s rapid adoption—becoming the fastest to reach 100 deliveries in its category in 2024—further validates its appeal to a wide range of operators, from corporate fleets to individual owners.
